have you fallen in love? have you ever gotten your heart broken ?
have you ever thought that the person you loved will be the one ?
love is so superficial
yet i never found a right defination for it .
sometimes we tell ourselves we don't want to fall in love
yet ending up having feelings for people we thought we will never have .
the clingy butterflies in your tummy,
the anxiousness to know the person called or text,
the rollercoaster feeling you have .
but not all this feelings stay for long .
people change, feelings fade .
nothing stays forever .
then one day he tells you, "we're better of as friends".
that sentence alone can tarnish everything .
break your heart into many little pieces,
sends you to live in denial for a period of time .
and you wished you never fall in love,
fell in love with the wrong person that broke your heart .
cos you end up picking the pieces up, alone .


today i managed to forgive the ones that hurt me .
today i managed to forgive myself .
today i managed to close a chapter in my life .
today i managed to accept that i'm not perfect and i'm only me .
today i managed to realise i tried my best but it didn't work .
today i managed to know all these while whatever was told to me were jokes & lies .
& today i finally managed to find inner peace in myself .
